Community Mental Health

Macomb County Community Mental Health is the public provider of mental health, substance use and developmental disability treatment services.

Under the direction of the Macomb County Board of Commissioners and the Macomb County Community Mental Health Board, Macomb County Community Mental Health (MCCMH) provides a wide variety of mental health treatment and support services to adults and children with mental illness, developmental disabilities and substance abuse treatment needs. Individual services provided may include assessment, outpatient or home-based treatment, mental health assessment prior to nursing home placement, residential, respite or support services, or other alternatives as determined by individual needs. Service Centers are barrier-free. TTY access to the MCCMH system is provided through the Crisis Center, Ombudsman and Office of Recipient Rights. Services are available in American Sign Language, as well as other alternative languages as needed. MCCMH programs and services are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
